Nathalie Bardou is a French photographer and writer, based in Paris, France.
Born in Paris in 1976, she graduated in 1999 with a Master degree in History, from Paris X-Nanterre University, and with a diploma in journalism in 2001, from the CFPJ school in Paris.
She started her career as a writer for French newspapers and magazines in 1999. In 2005, she covered her first photo assignment in the Gaza Strip.
From 2006, she has been capturing major news events and features in different parts of the world including Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, China and France, focusing on human issues in her photography. Her work was published in several international newspapers and magazines among others The International Herald Tribune, The Washington Post, Le Monde and Time Magazine…
